Welcome to WGCHEA! 

The West Georgia Christian Home Educators Association is a Christian homeschool organization based in Carroll County, GA.

The organization was prayerfully established in 2008 to offer support to home educating families in our area. 

For the 2009-2010 school year, WGCHEA's Statement of Purpose is as follows:

A) Support Group

The organization shall provide a member based support group, which will offer encouragement and enrichment to allow families to build Godly relationships in an atmosphere where Christian standards and values are shared by all.

The support group membership consist of conservative home educating families, some of which are seasoned home educators while others are just beginning the journey. Families support and encourage one another as well as particiapte in a variety of activities such as field trips, play days, mission and service projects, Moms meetings, family events, and more.

B) WG Co-op

The organization shall provide the WG Co-op for families who desire a more consistent schedule of meetings, fellowship, and educational enrichment. Please see the Co-op page for more details.

C) Community Opportunities

The organization shall strive to promote communication and networking among all home educating families within the community, members and non-members, by providing community opportunities such as the Used Book Sale, Parent Workshops, as well as moderating the WGCHEA Share Yahoo Group.

D) Volunteer Organization

WGCHEA is a volunteer organization. Information from WGCHEA leaders, website, or other forms should not be considered legal advice or professional advice, as we are homeschooling parents like yourselves.
